Qualifications

• Current state PA license, certified by NCCPA, current CPR certification.
• Experience in orthopedics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and determine appropriate procedures.
• Provide acute and chronic patient care including histories and physicals.
• Triage patient calls and evaluate patient problems.
• Respond to emergencies including CPR.
• Document patient information and maintain statistics.
• Educate patients and families, providing continuity of care.
• Assist physicians with surgeries in the operating room.
• Participate in hospital rounds and respond to after-hours calls.
• Consult with other staff as necessary.
