Job summary

McDonough District Hospital in Illinois is seeking an experienced Orthopedic APN/PA to expand patient access and support surgical teams, evaluating patients, coordinating follow-up, ordering tests, and assisting with procedures.

The APN/PA will oversee daily clinic operations, ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CDC, OSHA), and maintain EMR documentation while collaborating with the orthopedic surgeon to optimize patient flow.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and IL license to practice as NP/PA in orthopedics; CPR certification within 90 days.
• Experience in assessment, planning, implementation, diagnosis, and evaluation of diverse patient care.
• Clinic/family practice experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeon and clinic team to evaluate patients and manage follow-up care.
• Order and review diagnostic testing; assist with procedures; coordinate surgical care.
• Maintain efficient patient flow within the orthopedic clinic.
