Surgical Assistance: Provide critical first‑assist surgical support inside the Operating Room as needed and directed by attending orthopedic surgeons.

Care Coordination & Patient Advocacy

Surgical Navigation: Manage the complete perioperative continuum, providing detailed pre‑operative clearances, immediate post‑operative tracking, and structured wound care assessments.

Patient Education: Educate patients and their family caregivers on surgical expectations, injury recovery timelines, at‑home therapeutic exercises, and preventative health strategies.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, meticulous, and timely clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in strict accordance with hospital policy and healthcare regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.

Life Support & Prescribing: Active, valid DEA registration, along with current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.

Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; visa candidates cannot be considered at this time.

Desired Qualifications

Specialized Experience: Prior professional experience in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, urgent care, or a highly related musculoskeletal clinical setting is preferred.

Clinical Competencies: Confident familiarity with fracture care management, reduction techniques, and advanced structural imaging interpretation.
