Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CMA, CMA, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent).
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with dressing/undressing.
• Review patient registration details and complete EMR intake documentation.
• Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, and obtain test results.
• Manage patient callbacks, messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor physician queues.
