Job summary

Premier Health Partners seeks clinical staff for Premier Orthopedics-MVH to provide general clinical and procedural patient care under supervision. A minimum patient base is served and staff assist with a range of tasks from order entry to basic procedures.

Positions require a high school diploma, completion of a medical assisting program or LPN licensure, and CPR certification within 3 months. Prior ambulatory care experience is preferred, with strong patient service skills expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant program certification or equivalent recognized certification preferred.
• LPN licensure with state requirements.
• Prior ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures
• Handle order entry, reporting, and clerical tasks
• Perform venipuncture, injections, and routine clinical tests
• Conduct pulmonary function tests, EKGs, hearing/vision tests
• Support during minor surgical and medical procedures as directed
