Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a hand surgery specialist for inpatient locum tenens assignments in the Spokane area. The role requires a hand surgery fellowship and experience with tendon release/repair and peripheral nerve procedures.

You will cover 24-hour call shifts with a rapid 20-minute response time in an inpatient setting. Assignments include paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing, with time entries submitted through Weatherby’s online portal.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in hand surgery is required.
• Tendon release/repair experience is required.
• Peripheral nerve surgery experience is required.
• Inpatient practice experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hand surgery coverage in an inpatient setting as a locum tenens physician.
• Handle 24-hour beeper call shifts with a 20-minute response time.
• Log assignments and time entries in the online portal.
