Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field; degree must have been received within the past 60 months or anticipated by 5/31/2027.
• Experience in lab research focused on mechanics of materials or materials science.
• Experience with Additive Manufacturing technologies and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical testing (compression, tension, torsion).
• CAD and FEA modeling and simulation experience (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Cadaver dissection and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design test coupons and experimental workflows.
• Set up and run experiments and simulations; analyze data.
• Review literature and troubleshoot processes.
• Support process validation and monitoring activities.
• Contribute to cadaver testing and imaging analyses.
