Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in orthopedic coding or revenue cycle management.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership/management roles.
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM and payer rules.
• Experience with audits, denials, and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with Epic, NextGen or similar EHR platforms.
• CPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee orthopedic coding and documentation integrity across services.
• Lead precertification and authorization management, ensuring timely approvals.
• Monitor denial trends and revenue cycle performance to reduce leakage.
• Supervise and develop coding and precertification staff, set productivity standards.
