Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a MA or LPN for the Orthopedics Clinic on a full-time, day schedule in Washington. The role delivers quality nursing care within an interdisciplinary team and supports rooming, resources, and clinical tasks in ambulatory care settings.

Qualifications include a relevant MA or LPN program, state licensure, BLS, and CMA preferred for MAs. The position emphasizes patient communications, documentation, and collaboration with providers and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant/Medical Office Assistant program, MA Apprenticeship program, or accredited State Board of Nursing LPN program.
• Upon Hire: Washington State MA certification (MA-C) or LPN licensure.
• Upon Hire: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• If an MA, National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and clarifies patient needs; prepares patient for examination.
• Provides direct patient care and assists provider during examinations.
• May handle telephone triage under provider supervision.
• Documents care in the health record per department standards.
• Coordinates referrals and communicates with patients, pharmacies, and other providers.
