Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative

Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their assigned territory. They will establish, build, and maintain customer relations through communication and in-person appointments. The role requires maintaining expert knowledge of our product portfolio and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory. Work with surgeons and healthcare professionals to promote Arthrex products.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase territory results.
• Communicate with current and new customers about product updates and educational programs.
• Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to stay competitive.
• Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions.
• Address issues at customer accounts.
• Support compliance by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to laws and policies.
• Receive coaching and training; transfer knowledge to peers.
• Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
• Collect market data and stay current on industry trends.
• Participate in sales and professional meetings as required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
• Comfortable in open operating room environments.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
• Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
