Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible orthopaedic trauma surgeon to join two orthopaedic trauma surgeons in its hospital-employed group at a Level 1 trauma center in Florida. Call coverage is seven days per month with dedicated OR time for trauma cases.

Successful candidates will have completed an OTA-accredited fellowship and may build an elective subspecialty practice with institutional support; midlevel staff assist with ER duties and rounding.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible orthopaedic trauma surgeon required.
• OTA-accredited orthopaedic trauma fellowship completed.
• Experience with high-energy trauma and complex fractures essential.
• Ability to perform inpatient rounds and post-op care.

Responsibilities

• Seven days of orthopaedic trauma call per month at a Level 1 center.
• Join two orthopaedic trauma surgeons in a hospital-employed group.
• Provide elective subspecialty practice if desired with institutional support.
• Midlevel support for ER consults, reductions, splinting, and rounding.
• Manage geriatric and periarticular fracture cases and osteomyelitis care.
