Job summary

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a full‑time Orthopaedic Physician Assistant to join a team of 15 PAs and a hospital PA. The role covers surgical assist, clinic H&Ps, ultrasound injections, casting, and postoperative care across subspecialties.

Travel to all four Pittsburgh-area offices is required and weekend/holiday call is paid. Ideal candidates have at least two years of PA experience and strong orthopaedic knowledge with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of PA experience is preferred.
• Surgical experience and orthopaedic knowledge is required.
• Prior orthopaedic experience is strongly preferred.
• EMR experience is also required.

Responsibilities

• First assist at surgery and duties in the OR.
• H&Ps and full-spectrum patient care in clinic.
• Ultrasound-guided injections, casting/splinting, postoperative care.
• Hospital rounding and orthopaedic consults; urgent care hours optional and paid.
