Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group in Southern California is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand Surgery to join our teaching-focused academic team.

You will work in a busy practice with 16+ orthopedists and 4 physician assistants, and you will actively train 25 residents and 2 hand fellows, contributing to patient care, research, and education in a collaborative setting.

Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand Surgery to join our dynamic and growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collegial, faith-based academic environment with a strong emphasis on teaching and mentorship.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a busy, high-volume practice with 16+ orthopedic surgeons and 4 physician assistants

  • Faculty members may also qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs

Compensation & Benefits:

Expected Total Annual Compensation:$450,000- $550,000

The compensation range listed above includes variable compensation and is based on a 1.0 FTE work schedule/effort, as outlined in the individual department compensation plan. The compensation range for starting base compensation only, which is adjusted in accordance with years of experience and/or faculty rank, is expected to be $405,000 - $495,000. More information on compensation is discussed with the department during the recruitment process.
