Maximus Federal is seeking an Ortho Spine MD/DO Reviewer to join our Medical Consultant panel as an Expert Medical Independent Reviewer. This remote 1099 position involves reviewing medical files and providing expert opinions without diagnosing or treating patients.

The role requires substantial clinical background, monthly patient care hours, and 5 years in the specialty, with COI restrictions. Compensation is per case, with a pay range specified, and the assignment supports government

Qualifications

• At least 20 hours of direct patient care per month.
• 5 years’ experience in appropriate specialty post training.
• CANNOT be a VA employee, active-duty military, or provide care in military facilities (COI).

Responsibilities

• Operate under Maximus coverage; not diagnosing or treating patients.

Maximus Federal is currently seeking medical providers to join our Medical Consultant panel to be an Expert Medical Independent Reviewer.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 20 hours of direct patient care per month
• 5 years’ experience in appropriate specialty post training
• CANNOT be a VA employee, active-duty military, or provide care in military facilities (COI)

Pay Rate

$125/case to $550/case (30 minutes to 1 hour+ to complete)
