Responsibilities

• Join and grow the established sports program.
• Collaborate with a team of sports physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Participate in OR time and ED call rotations.

McLeod Health is seeking a Board Certified Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon to join an established and growing practice on the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Experience preferred—seeking someone interested in general and sports with a growing program in one of the fastest growing counties in the country.

Responsibilities

• Established & growing sports program
• 1 Sports Surgeon, 2 non-operative sports physicians, and 1 Sports APP
• Orthopedics include 3 joint surgeons, 1 foot & ankle, 1 upper, 1 spine and a large team of Advanced Practice Providers
• Practice and OR time—growing ORs and freestanding surgical center access
• ED call rotates amongst the Surgeons
• Team of 9 Advanced Practice Providers assist in inpatient call rotation
• Affiliated with local high schools and colleges
• General Ortho required
• Experienced preferred – will accept new graduates
