Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join a busy academic program. The role offers diverse sports medicine practice across our medical center and affiliated hospitals.
The candidate will participate in team coverage for collegiate and professional sports, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to resident education while advancing research and clinical care.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine required or preferred.
- Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience with professional/collegiate team coverage preferred.
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
- Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Predominantly clinical role in orthopaedic sports medicine.
- Participation in team coverage at collegiate and professional levels.
- Involvement in resident and fellow education with mentorship.
- Collaborate with athletic trainers, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Access to advanced surgical tech and research resources.
