The hire will serve in the Clinical X series at the Assistant Professor rank on the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento, CA.

The position requires MD or equivalent, board-eligible/board-certified status in Orthopaedic Surgery, and a PhD or equivalent research training with translational research experience.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• PhD or equivalent research training and experience.
• Board eligible/board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic care.
• Conduct translational and clinical research with a strong publication record.
• Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students; participate in departmental activities.
