Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center in Guntersville, AL is seeking a Medical Assistant Floater to join our team. This full-time position averages 40 hours per week and involves both clinical and secretarial duties.

As a floater, you will assist physicians with patient care and perform clerical tasks under the Clinical Coordinator's direction, floating to different locations as needed. Candidates must have HS/GED and ROT or CCMA certification within 90 days, plus one year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment.
• Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.
