Orthopaedic Injection Coordinator (North Hills Office, McCandless)

Tri‑State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is recruiting for a full‑time Orthopaedic Injection Coordinator within its billing department.

Responsibilities

• Verifying insurance benefit information for prescription coverage.
• Obtaining prior authorization for each injection.
• Submitting prescriptions to specialty pharmacies for processing.
• Coordinating the delivery of the medications to the physician offices.
• Scheduling patients for administration of the injection.
• Providing customer service support via phone for patients and/or insurance carriers.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills via telephone, be able to work with other departments as well as independently, and have strong computer/typing skills. They should remain organized, multitask with a positive and upbeat attitude, and maintain patient confidentiality. Knowledge of insurances and prior authorization is strongly preferred, with an understanding of payer guidelines.
