Qualifications

• Must possess strong customer service and communication skills via telephone.
• Ability to stay organized and multitask while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Knowledge of insurance and prior authorization processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifying insurance benefit information for prescription coverage.
• Obtaining prior authorization for each injection.
• Submitting prescriptions to specialty pharmacies for processing.
• Coordinating the delivery of medications to physician offices.
• Scheduling patients for administration of the injection.
• Providing customer service support via phone for patients and/or insurance carriers.
