Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, INC is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand, Shoulder, Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our private practice in the Pittsburgh area. The candidate will diagnose and treat injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, with opportunities for both surgical and non-surgical care.

Requirements include medical degree, completion of orthopaedic surgery residency, board certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania state license.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery
• PA medical license or ability to obtain license

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations to assess medical history and current condition

• Develop and implement treatment plans for hand/upper extremity patients
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures on hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, INC, is seeking a highly skilled, fellowship trained Orthopaedic Hand, Shoulder, Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our team. As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with injuries or disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations to assess their medical history and current condition
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Develop and implement treatment plans for Orthopaedic patients, including surgical and non-s surgical options
• Perform Orthopaedic surgical procedures on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program
• Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Orthopaedic Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery
• Valid medical license with the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Due to practice growth, we are seeking a hand/shoulder/upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon to join our busy practice in 2026. The successful candidate will provide a high-level of patient-centered care, promote practice growth and work collaboratively as part of a team. Interest and availability to provide general orthopaedic care preferred. As an independent practice, we accept all major insurances with a healthy payor mix. Our practice is highly elective. Minimal on-call emergency coverage, no level I trauma. Call is 1:9. Excellent hours and competitive benefits.
