Job summary

Medical Associates Clinic is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Clinical Technician with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training to join our Orthopaedics team. This role blends clinical duties with athletic training expertise to support surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal care, with surgical training potential.

Primary schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 4 days a week with rotating day off; located at West Campus. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in related clinical roles; new grads welcome.
• Athletic Trainer background/specialization is required.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Ability or willingness to pursue surgical training.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data, review records, and assist with patient care activities.
• Assist with rooming, intake, vitals, scheduling, and lab orders.
• Assist with cast/splint removal and DME applications.
• Collaborate with health care team according to plan of care.
• Document care, interventions, and education; support medical records.
• Facilitate reimbursement per insurance requirements.
• Maintain a safe, tidy office and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Attend required meetings and participate in process improvements.
• Potentially operate as a surgical assistant after training.
