Job summary

Hastings Center, Inc. is hiring an Orthopaedic Casting Technician to support patient care in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience applying and removing casts, assisting orthopedic surgeries, and managing supplies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and certification as an Orthopedic Technologist is preferred. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive salary and benefits.

Makes decisions and judgments on phone calls, answering questions and advising patients with Physician guidelines. Instructs patient in preparation for procedures and in-home care, using instruction sheets when applicable.* Maintains knowledge of and complies with established policies and procedures.* Performs other related duties as assigned.
