Benevis, a leading dental services organization, is seeking an Orthodontist to join our growing team in Mississippi. You will deliver orthodontic care to children and adults, supported by a dedicated team and modern technology.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic residency.
• Active dental license in states where care is provided or eligible for licensure.
• Nitrous oxide certification where required by location.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontic services to patients with a supportive team.
• Utilize DentaPro software for charting and treatment planning.
• Operate digital x-ray and Panorex units during patient care.
• Maintain fiber-optic handpieces and sterilization standards.
• Adhere to yearly OSHA, HIPAA and emergency management training.
• Coordinate with hygienists and assistants per provider.

Responsibilities

Orthodontists are responsible for providing Orthodontic services to patients with the support of their team. Our practice has:

• DentaPro software
• Digital x-ray and Panorex units
• Fiber-optic handpieces
• Yearly OSHA and HIPPA and Emergency Management training
• Ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider

Patient Base: primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population (depending upon location)

Office flow: average 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients

State insurance plans, PPO and out-of-network payor mix

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Certificate of completion of a residency from an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic Program
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
• Other certifications as required - CPR, etc.
• Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
• Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
