Job summary

Diamond Braces in Brooklyn, NY seeks an Orthodontist who is Spanish-speaking to serve a diverse patient base and advance your career with our supportive team.

You will diagnose and treat malocclusions with braces and aligners, educate patients on oral health, coordinate with dental staff, and ensure accurate records. Local travel between offices may be required; compensation reflects experience with strong benefits.

Essential Functions:
  • Diagnose and Treat Malocclusions: Examine patients' dental and skeletal structure to identify and diagnose alignment issues and develop treatment plans to address these concerns.
  • Design and Implement Orthodontic Treatment: Use various orthodontic appliances, including braces and aligners, to correct bite issues, misaligned teeth, and jaw discrepancies.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.
  • Educate Patients on Oral Health: Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on maintaining oral health during and after orthodontic treatment.
  • Collaborate with Dental Team: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Document treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure Patient Comfort and Satisfaction: Create a positive experience for every patient by addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing compassionate care.
  • Stay Updated with Orthodontic Advances: Continuously update your knowledge and skills through continuing education and training to provide the best care possible.
  • Stay Flexible: Be ready to handle additional tasks as required, adapting to the changing needs of the practice.
