Job summary

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant.
• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance and support patients throughout orthodontic treatment.
• Train new hires using established clinical skills checklists.
• Lead Dental Assistants in continuous process improvement and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to improve patient care and clinical documentation.
• Manage dental supply inventory and coordinate repair or maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and office safety protocols, including equipment testing logs.
