Job summary

Bond Management Partners LLC in Los Alamitos, CA is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support the orthodontist during procedures, prepare instruments, and help deliver exceptional patient care.

This part-time role offers a pay range of $25–$30 per hour, a 24-hour work week, and a schedule of Monday and Tuesday 8–5 with alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays 8–5. Emphasis on accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or credential as dental assistant (RDA/OA).
• Ability to work with orthodontic procedures and patients.
• Commitment to accurate patient care and privacy standards.
• Fluent English communication for patient interaction and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including installing braces, adjusting wires, and placing aligners.
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances, such as retainers.
• Remove braces, wires, and bands as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques specific to orthodontic care.
• Instruct patients on general oral health care, as directed by the orthodontist.
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, and Dental Board requirements.
• Take digital orthodontic records including x-rays and photographs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
