Job summary

Best Smiles Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician III to deliver positive clinical experiences for patients. You will manage patient flow, adhere to policies, and support orthodontic treatments under supervision.

Your role includes placing orthodontic appliances, performing lab procedures, and educating patients on care. A diploma and experience as Clinician II are required, alongside certifications as per state regulations.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Places and removes orthodontic appliances.
• Performs bonding and expert positioning of brackets.
• Manages the remote monitoring dashboard.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment.

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.

How you’ll make us better:

• Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
• Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
• Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes
• Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
• Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow
• Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications
• Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events
• Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
