Job summary

Craig & Streight Orthodontics in Oklahoma is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience to patients under supervision of the Orthodontist and ensure compliance with policies and state dental laws.

You’ll assist with appliances, review charts, perform labs, monitor remote data, educate patients, and maintain infection-control standards in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant permit and certification preferred.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well as state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and close supervision of an Orthodontist.

How you’ll make us better:

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist
• Review remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triage notifications
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols
