Job summary

Prairie View Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our Geneva, IL team. You’ll assist in placing and removing appliances under supervision, review charts, and help manage remote monitoring alongside the Orthodontist.

You’ll educate patients, prepare the operatory, and ensure sterile protocols are followed. Prior dental/orthodontic exposure and required state certifications enhance candidacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification may be required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory; follow infection-control protocols.
