Job summary

Weddle Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support the orthodontist and clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist with braces placement, impressions, wire adjustments, and elastics, while maintaining a clean, organized clinic and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.

The role involves taking X-rays or digital scans, managing records in the EHR/PMS, sterilizing instruments, and keeping treatment rooms stocked and compliant with infection

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant.
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, appliances, and terminology.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist orthodontist during procedures: braces, impressions, wires, elastics.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
  • Take diagnostic X-rays or digital scans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR/PMS.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and manage supplies.
