Job summary

Rock Dental Brands seeks an Orthodontic Assistant Trainer to own the 90-day ramp for every new ortho assistant, driving them from Day 1 to full contributor status with daily check-ins and a standardized onboarding program. This is an onsite role across multiple states, ensuring consistent progress and hands-on chairside training.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible dental/orthodontic assistant credential.
• Demonstrated hands-on clinical training, preceptor, or new-hire onboarding experience.
• Comfortable with heavy, variable weekly travel across a multi-state footprint.
• Strong documentation discipline and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Own the 90-day new-hire ramp program from Day 1 through full contributor status.
• Deliver hands-on, chairside training on-site across states with weekly travel.
• Close the loop with clinic managers to ensure actual chairside contribution.
• Identify and escalate readiness issues (equipment gaps, supervised hours, provider availability).
• Maintain ongoing connection with assistants through the 90 days and monitor cohort outcomes.
• Provide input to L&D/Clinical leadership on program effectiveness and adjustments.
