Orthodontic Experts is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality orthodontic care. You will support the orthodontist in chair-side procedures, prepare patients, and help with sterilization, radiographs, and lab tasks.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic assisting (1 year required).
• Availability on Saturdays.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certificate of completion for Orthodontic Assistant Courses (preferred).
• Ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
• Can multitask.
• Be professional, organized, and have strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments, such as cleaning teeth, taking X-Rays, and making impressions.
• Examine patient's mouths and note irregularities.
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including adjusting braces and placing appliances.
• Manage patient records and update charts.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
• Sterilize instruments before and after use.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Complete Aligner procedures: attachments, adjustments, and scans.
• Complete Full Arch Bonding top and bottom, bonding fixed retainers.
• Debonding and Rebonding brackets.
• Use various digital scanners.
• Make clear retainers.
• Deliver expanders, space maintainers and Forsus.
• Travel to other clinics and perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Participate in marketing events.
• Other tasks as assigned.
