Job summary

Orthodontic Specialists of Green Bay (OSGB) is seeking a motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. You will work with orthodontists and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care using advanced technologies and a collaborative, patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• No orthodontic experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of orthodontic procedures and treatment modalities.
• Utilize technology such as 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, SureSmile, OrthoPulse.
• Perform indirect and direct bracket bonding, place archwires and attachments.
• Cement appliances and assist with placement of TADs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and educate patients/parents on plans and hygiene.
• Adhere to sterilization, infection-control, and HIPAA guidelines.

What You'll Do

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll work closely with our orthodontists and clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with a variety of orthodontic procedures and treatment modalities
• Utilizing cutting-edge technology, including:
  • 3D imaging
  • Intraoral scanning
  • SureSmile
  • OrthoPulse
• Performing indirect and direct bracket bonding
• Placing archwires and orthodontic attachments
• Cementing orthodontic appliances
• Assisting with the placement of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Educating patients and parents about treatment plans and oral hygiene
• Following sterilization, infection-control, and safety protocols
• Protecting patient privacy through strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines
