Position Summary:

At All Star Smiles Orthodontics we are focused on delivering exceptional care to our patients. We are looking for a friendly, energetic professional, who is open to learning and able to pivot. Previous dental knowledge is encouraged but not required. We will train the individual who is not afraid to learn. Our ideal applicant must be reliable, motivated, have the ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.

An Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for efficiently assisting the doctor during procedures, setting up operatories, sterilization, lab work, and records including iTero scans, x-rays and imaging. They are also tasked with maintaining professional, caring and trusting relationship with the patients.

What you will be doing - key responsibilities:

Perform various orthodontic procedures under direction of orthodontist including banding and bonding procedures
Conduct band fittings
Place and remove separators
Change arch wires or ties
Take digital imaging, x-rays and scans
Take impressions and make essix retainers
Deliver retainers and other removable appliances
Chart and record treatment information in chart
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Doctor, Clinical Lead, and Practice Manager.

Schedule:

9 hour shift
4 Day work week
No evenings or weekends
