Job Overview

Responsibilities

1. Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each clinical day for team meetings.
2. Ensure patients have an excellent experience by providing care in a patient-friendly environment, including punctuality and personalized acknowledgment.
3. Build rapport with patients and their families by remembering personal details over time.
4. Serve as chairside assistant, proficient in orthodontic procedures such as photographs, radiographs, impressions, digital scanning, wire changes, bracket placement, expander placement, aligner and retainer delivery, and retainer fabrication.
5. Use orthodontic terminology accurately in chart notes.
6. Operate practice management software effectively, including scheduling and assisting with phone calls.
7. Manage clinical flow to see 12-15 patients daily efficiently.
8. Provide orthodontic instructions to patients and parents, including appliance care and oral hygiene.
9. Assist in sterilization procedures using cold sterile, dry-heat, and autoclave methods.
10. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by the doctor.

Requirements

• Dental x-ray certification required.
