Job summary

North Attleboro Orthodontics, part of the Smile Doctors family, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant in North Attleboro, MA. You will support the orthodontist with appliance placement/removal, chart review, and patient education in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

You will sterilize equipment, maintain operatory cleanliness, and participate in remote monitoring triage. A strong focus on infection control and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under the Orthodontist's close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans and messages, and address triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
