Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant for orthopedic surgery with inpatient ICU and trauma exposure. You will see new general ortho patients, participate in first assist in the OR, and cover clinics from Grant to New Albany.

The role requires a PA license in Ohio and national certification, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and high-quality patient care. The position offers a standard 40-hour work week, daytime shifts, and opportunities to work across multiple clinics and hospital

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for PA practice.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• NCCPA certification and PA state licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program with eligibility to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures and perioperative care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Maintain Supervisory Physician Agreement and comply with state boards.
• Collaborate with physicians in ICU, trauma, ED, and surgical services.
