Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA) required.
• Registered in Radiography (ARRT) within 1 year.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (state licensure).

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams according to department protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist and considers patient history to perform the correct exam.
• Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate; responds to adverse reactions.
• Maintains imaging equipment and environment, ensures safety, and assists in instruction of students/new staff as needed.
