Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography using various imaging equipment and to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The role requires BLS within 30 days, ARRT Radiography registration within 1 year, and current licensure in Radiologic Technology.

You will work under department protocols, collaborate with radiologists, and ensure patient safety and image quality.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AR R T registered in Radiography within 1 year.
• Current radiologic technology licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures per protocols and guidelines.
• Review cases with radiologist when appropriate.
• Administer IV and oral/rectal contrast as applicable.
• Ensure safety and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Verify orders and review patient history for medical necessity.
• Maintain imaging equipment and workspace; manage supplies.
