Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure in applicable state required or compact state licensure
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per the nursing process
• Document assessments and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Operate medical equipment as needed
• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
• Orthopedics RN duties: pre/post-operative care, peripheral/vascular assessments, immobilization devices, pain management, patient education
