Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's and RN license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Orthopedics and/or Med-Surg current experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates patients and their families on post-treatment home care and medications.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs per standards of care.
