Novant Health's Orthopedic Specialty Care Unit (OSCU) seeks a registered nurse to care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and trauma. You will collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and an interdisciplinary team to drive recovery and mobility outcomes.

The role emphasizes bedside nursing, patient education, and coordinated transitions to home or rehab settings, with opportunities for professional development and tuition support.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and traumatic injuries.
• Monitor patient conditions, manage pain, and support postoperative recovery.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility goals, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, therapists, case managers, and care team members.
• Assist patients in achieving mobility and rehabilitation milestones.
• Coordinate care to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home or rehabilitation settings.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.
