Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under remote supervision to assist in diagnosis and treatment. You will position patients, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure proper shielding and exposure techniques in accordance with SOPs.

Qualified candidates hold a NYS Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT certification, and BLS within 90 days of hire; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Certification.
• 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Commitment to ALARA radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Produces radiographs according to SOPs and physician orders.
• Positions and transfers patients and provides immobilization devices as required.
• Selects and operates radiographic equipment as directed.
• Ensures proper exposure techniques and shielding for patient safety.
• Maintains procedure room stock and linen levels daily.
• Performs daily cleaning of radiographic equipment and accessories.
• Reports equipment issues to supervisor for repairs.
• Adheres to institutional policies and radiation safety guidelines.
