University of Rochester is expanding its orthopaedic procedural suite at Marketplace Mall. The role provides direct patient care for all ages under supervision, including local anesthesia, spinal injections, and hand-based procedures, with opportunities in osteoporosis infusion therapy and perioperative assessments.

The position emphasizes teamwork, ICARE values, and excellent patient communication, with daytime shifts and potential for expanded responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Must have strong IV skills.
• Experience in surgical or pre/post anesthesia preferred.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services and assume expanded roles (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor, committee member).
• FT position available, primarily days, 8 hour shifts.
