Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms patients, documenting histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Assists providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, and testing.
• Performs specialized tests and specimen collection as ordered.
• Prepares, cleans, and stocks rooms; maintains supplies and equipment.
• Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes instruments per standards.
• Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments within scope.
• Educates patients and reinforces treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Recognizes patient needs and communicates concerns to the provider.
• Performs additional duties to support goals.
