Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our orthopedic-focused team. This part-time day shift role offers two 12-hour shifts weekly and exposure to orthopedic patients with overflow from general surgery.

You will apply the nursing process, coordinate care, delegate tasks, and work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. MO RN license, 2 years of experience, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable nursing experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Missouri (MO) per NURSYS.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and deliver care.
• Delegates patient-care tasks and supervises other staff as needed.
• Coordinates the plan of care for assigned patients and consults with health-care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adheres to policies, rules, and procedures and maintains patient-centered care.
