Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an LPN for the Ortho unit on a PRN basis with a night shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm. The LPN will provide patient care under supervision, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with multiple departments to deliver quality care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license in Missouri, with certifications such as BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where nursing duties are performed.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS or other unit-specific credentials may be required or obtained within the department's timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Provides care during assigned shifts and adheres to Mercy policies and procedures.
