Ruppert Landscape is hiring an Outdoor Crew Member to perform a range of landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and planting under a Field Manager. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, supporting daily operations, and reporting irrigation or plant health concerns. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a people-first culture.

• Follow Field Manager direction and maintenance standards for quality workmanship.
• Operate hand and power tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor landscape conditions and report irrigation issues or plant health concerns
• Communicate daily activities and needs with team and supervisors.
• Work collaboratively while following safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance on job sites.
• Take on additional duties to support team operations.

Where You Fit In

As a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member, you will perform a variety of landscape management tasksincluding mowing, trimming, mulching, and planting while working collaboratively with a team under the direction of a Field Manager. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced outdoor environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of landscape maintenance duties while following Field Manager direction, property specifications, and maintenance standards to ensure quality workmanship and timely service completion


• Support routine landscape maintenance services such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, planting, and seasonal clean-ups to maintain healthy and attractive properties


• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools and landscape maintenance equipmentincluding mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, bed edgers, and other walk-behind or ride-on machinery


• Support safe and efficient daily operations through jobsite setup and cleanup, debris removal, material handling, and the transport, cleaning, and basic maintenance of equipment and tools


• Assist with m monitoring landscape conditions and report ing irrigation issues, plant health concerns, property damage, or other maintenance needs to supervisors


• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily maintenance activities, property conditions, equipment or material needs, safety concerns, and service quality


• Work collaboratively within a team environment while adhering to all safety protocols, company procedures, and industry best practices


• Maintain a clean, professional appearance on job sites and represent the company with professionalism at all times


• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall team operations

Qualifications:

• Safety-first mindset with a commitment to adhering to safety regulations, promoting safe work practices, and wearing proper PPE at all times


• Physically capable of routinely lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds outdoors in variable weather conditions


• Energetic, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in a variety of weather conditions


• Consistently report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance


• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team


• No prior industry experience is required ; training will be provided for motivated and dependable candidates

Hours / OT Eligibility: Typically 40 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required during the spring season
