Job summary

Mission Critical Solutions, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is hiring a Service Electrician for our Orlando facility. The position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems for commercial equipment, reading schematics and blueprints, and working with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.

We require a high school diploma, a minimum of 3 years of electrician experience, and prefer a journeyman's license.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of electrician experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Must possess team spirit, and be able to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering services.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including overtime if necessary.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must possess own transportation, as most locations aren’t accessible with public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, or replacing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic,line assemblies, lighting, and other electrical parts.
• Installing, repairing, or replacing generators and industrial storage batteries.
• Installing electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate NEC/CEC.
• Installing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and connected devices.
• Testing electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Analyzing electrical failures and replacing components to minimize production downtime.
• Performing preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution equipment.
• Correcting connections and wiring on equipment controls to ensure safe operation.
• Maintaining maintenance records.
• Basic and advanced troubleshooting.
• Complying with industry standards and safety regulations.
